Touch BIOS issues
« on: May 30, 2011, 01:13:19 am »
I upgraded Touch BIOS by clicking the @ in the lower right hand corner of the Touch BIOS window. When the new version of Touch BIOS loads all the icons are missing from the main window as can be seen in the attached image. Anyone having a similar issue? Motherboard is the GA-Z68X-UD5-B3

Clear cmos, load optimized defaults, boot to windows, start TouchBIOS and see what happens...

This is a new technology so it is a bit of a learning curve for us all. However it is only a program that gives GUI control of the BIOS so as such try all the normal fixes.

It might well be that you will need to uninstall the previous version. Check in Control Panel.

I have the same problems with my Z68x-ud7. Some info and options dissapear randomly. F6 bios installed.
And another question, in bios core options, cant select manual multi in core 3 (the last, core 0, 1, 2, 3), this option turns automatically on auto. The other cores works ok, i can select multi fine.

Hi, i have emailed the GGTS and am awaiting an answer.

But i am on F6 firmware, and am getting an out "unhandled exception" error when opening the touch bois.

apparently the "index was outside the bounds of the array"

details are below:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

anyone got ideas?? i deleted reinstalled a number of times, tried to find something in registry about touch bios to delete in case its something in there, but cant find anything.
