Bios update for 560TI SO GV-N560SO-1GI
« on: July 15, 2011, 08:36:10 am »
Hey guys,

i've read in few thread people talking about updating their bios for their 560ti, so i checked out the gigabyte site and found this tool

but it seem that it doesn't work like @bios for motherboards, and then i came across these files

so i was curious to know are these the BIOS flash file to use or do i have to downloaded the newest version from somewhere myself

thank you =]

If there are any newer ones they should be on the Gigabyte website. Check out the pages for your graphics card and any should be listed there. You didn't say which revision you had but here is the listing for all of them. Just choose the right one.

ok i found this but it seems to be the same version but  abit modified since as you while playing a game my Voltage is 1.0250V while from tech power up it says Voltage: by ASIC (0.9625 V - 1.0500 V), so i guess it's a bit overclocked.

i'm trying to find a  bios update because like other people i'm getting game crashes, in witcher 2 the game just freezes like it would be paused, if i go to the desktop and go back to the game it resumes as if nothing happened, but fear 3 and crysis 2 keep on crashing and i get the driver stooped
working message.

and i heard that increasing the core voltage by a tiny bit helps to solve this

But i had not find any new solution
i dont like this solution but it is better that 1 find
Gigabyte had not create the F4 bios

you shoud use nvflash and NiBiTor

nvflash to flash
NIBITOR to make the .bin to .rom

Sorry for my english but I am french :'(

if you don't mind i would like to ask few questions

did your temperatures increased by much?
did you use the bios i just showed with the 1.0500V core voltage?

and do you think that gigabyte program:
will be able to flash it?

thanks for your help ^^

hello

After 4 hours at crysis 2 hd pack, i am at 70°C max

Yes i  use it
In fact you increase voltage at step 3 at 1000 mhz
however between step 2 and step 3 the voltage have been modified also

For VGA@bios it a good soft, but unfortunately it didn't take upgrade bios file on the web like @bios on mother board
and VGA@bios didn't take a .bin file for update

you can see by using "OC Guru " if you modify voltage at 1.05 v , if it work

see you next time
