Hi Andy,
If you go to Gigabyte website , be careful to choose the Biois for Rev 1.0 of your Mobo, because there is a version 2.0
Is it the GA-X58A-UD3R rev 1.0 as displayed in the title of this topic?
Go to
http://www.gigabyte.us website, for the drivers, bios, etc
Ok Step by Step, it is possible to improve the situation.
Now
before and after each Flash in Bios, make this:
Clear Cmos,
My favorite method is:
disconnect the power cord,
purge the power button in front case,
remove batterie,
Change a positon of the jumper on the motherboard for clear cmos. (Check your manual if necessary).
Make a contact with a paper clip between the batterie connectors fiew 5 sec,
Rechange a normal position of the jumper on the mobo.
Place a batterie
Plug de power cord
Reboot.
If you have a similar method, use it at our convenience.
Go to Bios,
LOAD FAIL SAFE defaults in BIOS.
F10
Reboot
Now Flash your BiosBoot just for post (for see version the Bios displayed).
Repeat the clear cmos.
Go to Bios,
LOAD FAIL SAFE defaults in BIOS.
F10
Reboot
Go to win safe mode
if ok
Go to win normal mode.
it's boring and slow but more sure.
Try again with F6 only
The F7L and F8A is a BETA Version. Do not use it.
Come back for give a news.
