GTX 560Ti OC or GTX 560Ti Soc

GTX 560Ti OC or GTX 560Ti Soc
« on: August 22, 2011, 07:51:11 am »
Hello.
I just got a new rig.
i5 2500k
Asus p8z68-v
Corsair Vengeance 8gb kit (2x4)
LC Silent Power 6650

Now my question is which of this graphics card should i get?
I cant find any videos on youtube which show the FPS in games with the same settings, thats why i came here to ask.

The money is not a problem cuz i wanted to buy a graphics card for 200-230€ anyways.

Hi

Well it is rather a personal feeling as to which you like better but I have been using the Radeon line of cards for a whilke now and find them excellent value for money. In fact i have just purchased a Sapphire 6950 to use as a backup and for my review system and am very happy with it. I have a 6970 in my main system but they are a bit more expensive. The 6950 will come into your budget. Generally I don't see as much problems with them as with the nvidia lineup on the forum and find they perform brilliantly.

If you definitely want to use a nvidia I would go for the lower rated card as they usually have problems with the overclock more than anything else.

Im looking for a graphics card with Nvida GPU cuz i had problems with all the Saphire graphics cards i had.
The last saphire card i had was the 6870 vapor-x. First i sent the card back and they replaced it, when i got the new one i had the same problem (all the games i had crashed after a few minutes), so i went and replaced it for the Gigabyte GTS450 OC2 and had no problems.

This is what I meant by a personal feeling.  Some people seem to have more luck with one make as opposed to the other. My other advice still stands though regarding the nvidia cards.

Well good luck. I am talking mainly from persoanl experience and what I have seen on the forum here. I haven't used a nvidia card for several years and they were alright then but seem to be more troublesome recently. Anyway let us know what you get in the end and how you get on. ;)
