My PC:

Try clearing the CMOS and see if that helps

Hi
It seems  to  be written back to processor when PC wakes up from sleep mode of S3(STR).
from what info i've read,
Have you tried disabling S3,
Cheers

Have you tried loading fail safe defaults? What about disabling all power saving features. Do you have a spare graphics card you can try? If your system is running stable and are having no problems I would be temped to ignore it, looks like more of an annoyance than a problem.

Hi badpix3l

Bios F7 is available, why not give it a try?
http://www.giga-byte.co.uk/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_DownloadFile.aspx?FileType=BIOS&FileID=15126

Also I found such suggestion:
Load optimized defaults in BIOS -> enter Q-Flash -> Reset DMI data and reboot -> on reboot enter bios, do not let OS load -> enter Q-Flash -> Reset DMI data > Load CMOS Default -> Reboot
ZX-S & C64 are still my favourites ;-)

Yeah the BIOS update should help as the F7 says "Update CPU ID (Support AGESA 3.5.3.1 code / AM3 C3 CPU) " Let us know how you get on :)

I upgrade bios on F7.
I try this with "reset DMI data" but same.

Yeah if you've done everything we've suggested + your system is perfectly stable, I would not worry about it  :)

Hi All

I confirmed it with our HQ, there is nothing to worry about. The explanation is as follows:
The message means that data of the memory registry of K8 processor has been updated to DMI when the system is turned on. Those data are aimed to be written back to processor when PC wakes up from sleep mode of S3(STR).

Anyway a special bios will be made soon without this message (as it maybe confusing)
