UEFI?

UEFI?

Now that X79 is getting a proper EUFI, is there any chance that Z68 will? I know there is the hybrid touch bios, but really I want proper UEFI for my next build.

Hi

I am not 100% sure but as far as I know the EFI is on the cards for all the newer motherboards so hopefully it is only a matter of time.  ;)

My understanding of this is, that it will only be appearing on new motherboards and will not be implemented on existing versions.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

I thought that was one of the reasons for changing the BIOS chips to the new larger size since the P67 boards a while ago. As we all know the goalposts are moveable though. I suppose time will tell.
