Yes something like that is realy annoying and even more so when you have been waiting on it to start a build. Hopefully the one in his store will be ok but just give it a good check over first. They are nice cases though, one of the best in my opinion. They have a great cable management system which helps a great deal to have a nice tidy build in the end. I have the HAF932 full tower and really like it although I have customised it from day 1.

Sir,

I got the new HAF X yesterday.. (I mean the replacement).
She is not damaged and I throughly checked each and every component...

Didn't go through the box (Accessories) but the case sems to be intact without any damage to it.
Also got the RAM... I installed that on the current config...
Went thru with Windows Rating Index... It clocks at 7.4, 7.6, 7.7, 7.7 & 5.9...

The SSD is not installed as yet though I have bought it but haven't yet used it...
I guess the minute I use that the scores might go higher...

Well your hard drive score will certainly go up a lot. 5.9 is the maximum you can possibly get when running with a spinning platter. It certainly should be up in the 7s.

Anyway m not such a fan on the scoring thingy..
Its not at all important as to what the score is as i'm more concerned about what the machine perfoms like..

The other side of the coin, the better the score the better the machine would perform.

Dark Mantis, wanted to let you know, whether you follow the CM Forums?
I was checking out the Mod Build by Kieron the HAF X...
Also there is the Stacker SR2 & the Lap Desk...

We dont get these fancy pumps & water blocks and connectors and the rest of the modding stuff in India...
I was simply amazed at what all stuff guys can do...

Its so much more than a computer...

That's it the joys of real customisation. A lot of the best builds and custom alterations etc are made by hand and often are not even available so in that respect you are no worse off there in India.

I must admit that I haven't been watching the CM forums but I will check it out a little later when I have time.

Hey...

I agree... But it is a lot of investment to customise (Primarily a trial & error methodology).
In India we don't get the modding equipment as the U.S or Europe.
More importantly to get it in India its even more expensive...

Please make sure to check on the CM Forum - L3P, Kier, SR2 Stacker.
Kier is the HAF X mod - simply outstanding... so so brilliant (no words to express).
L3P is out of the world...

I had a question for you...
Can I go for water blacks for my GTX 295?
They will be near impossible to be procured in India but by chance if possible...

Please give me your opinions on it...

http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-geforce/geforce-2xx-gtx-series/295-gtx-single.html?limit=all

They have different products, available on the website.
I dont understand the difference in the 1st row and the 2nd row.
If you get a chance, will u explain me if possible...

Greatly appreciated.

Hi

The main thing if considering watercooling your graphics card with a full cover block is to find out if the card that you have is a reference design or not. This is not always easy to determine. You will need to do much hunting around on the web most likely. As a general rule the reference cards are the ones early on in the production run before the manufacturers have started making their own customised design cards.

There is no difference between the two lines of components on the EK site in real terms just design and materials mainly.

Right...

Well I dont know much about this.
I'll check whether its a reference design or not.

I dont know anything about water cooling what so ever and hence i'll have to hunt and read alot bout this.
I'll do it and get back.

Sorry if its been a trouble to you...

Hi...

DM Sir, I have found a solution for water cooling the 2 Graphics Cards.
Danger Den has its DD-295 units for sale.

I even tried the Koolance & EK Waterblocks but they turned out to be a Dead End.

Can you please let me know if they are alright?

It is difficult to say for sure but it all depends on your specific graphics cards. Are they reference cards or are they cards that the manufacturer has designed ? Also Danger Den are normally far from cheap. If you post a link to the actual cards and coolers I will try and give you my opinion.

DM Sir,I'll do that in the evening then...
The reference card design that you said...

There are 2 versions if i'm not mistaken. The Single PCB & The Dual PCB Design...
Both the cards of mine are Dual PCB that is what i've checked...

I do agree they are not cheap... Costing like $189.95 each.
I dont deny but I guess they'll be worth it...

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_971_240_577&products_id=25196

One card is an MSI & the other is EVGA.

They seem to be very nice units but whether they will fit your cards is another matter. By the way I am not a sir! ;D

Well, sorry about referring to you as Sir...
Shall not do that again...

Tell me what do you mean by will they fit your card?
I sure hope they do...

Is there anything that I can do to check if they can...
Please let me know how to go about this...

As I already told you, i'm absolutely new at this...

One more update, the Vengeance works just fine.
All I had to do was to go to the BIOS and change the option in to Auto...
The speed went to 1600...

Glad to hear that the Vengeance memory is working fine for you. It is normally very good.

The reason I said that the blocks might not fit your cards is that unless they are of the "reference" design (in other words the way the card was originally designed and the original components installed) they will not fit. Manufacturers often change the design of the cards and change components as they go along to improve the performance. This is fine but it means you end up with many different cards on the market that all call themselves Nvidia **** or Radeon ****. Obviously the same block cannot fit all of these different cards some of which will even have different PCBs.

All you can do is investigate the card/s you have and try and find out if indeed they are still reference(original) design or not.
