GZ-X9 Case came without Front Panel Firewire Socket

GZ-X9 Case came without Front Panel Firewire Socket

Hi

I ordered the GZ-X9 form a web site and the graphic showed the Firewire socket installed.  When it arrived there was no socket.  After an exhaustive search I find this item is marked as optional yet this is not clear in any description I have found.  The Gigabyte web site product specification page http://www.gigabyte.tw/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2992#kf  when translated in Google Chrome still shows Chinese language on the graphics so i am none the wiser.  How am I to order this part.  The suppliers says I should have stated I wanted the item.

Can this be ordered here in Australia?

UPDATE: I tried 2 suppliers who order through Altec the distributor for Gigabyte in Sydney and both do not seem at all interested in ordering.  Melbourne office of Gigabyte (Parts) says the part is available.

Hi

I would think that if the retailers aren't interested in ordering the part for you your oly other course of action would be to try Gigabyte, Australia and see if they can obtain you one for a fee.
