Energy Saver 2 Crash
« on: September 15, 2011, 09:22:20 am »
Hi. Was running ES 2.0 last night and has the Dynamic Energy Saver selected as well as the Dual Power Off selection. When I turned the first the Dual Power Off, off, and then turned the DES off, the system just froze. I waited a bit but no recovery.

On resetting the system, had a few boot restarts, before I turned the computer completely off, leaving it for a few minutes. Upon restarting, everything back to OK.

Anyone experience this? I'm a bit hesitant to try it again. Should I perhaps re-install it?

Thanks

Hi

How about uninstalling it!  ;)

Personally I am not in favour of these bundled programs and often find they cause more problems than they save.  I would just dispose of it as you can manage perfectly well without it.
