And so, i upgraded my system and started to build a sandy bridge system.
last week, i went to Microcenter and got my self a unbelievable deal for a processor and motherboard . main reason for the build was gaming and some encoding work...
Here's what i bought:
i7 2600K = 279.99USD
Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 = 38.00 + 15.00 Mail in Rebate
4 GB Patriot 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 1.65v
Here are my old things from my old setup:
Corsair AX850
Corsair 600T SE White Edition
2x 150GB WD Raptor in Raid 0
1Tb WD Caviar Black
Razer Lycossa
G500 Mouse
Everything works ok when i booted up, then i went to bios and change every settings for me to work with raid 0 and install a clean copy of windows 7 and all the drivers. Suddenly when it restarts it seems like the keyboard doesnt work anymore. i was pressing the f8 for the boot priority thing and it passed that it went on "loading OS...." then i tried Ctrl + Alt + Del to reboot it does not work. but my keyboard was lit up and has power, i unplugged the keyboard and re-plugged it, it worked brilliantly then it rebooted then i wanted to got o the bios again but, here we go again keyboard does not work i was confuse and what i did just unplugged and plug the keyboard working my way to install the os and so i did, installed every driver and updated the bios installed the driver of my Lycossa and still keyboard does not work , i would have to unplug and plug for it to work to go to bios, but the craziest part is it worked on windows, i even played a game to verify and it work it is just the bios. it is my first gigabyte board i had been a EVGA fan, but due to it is cheap and had a great deal and seems like the board has a lot of features in it, i decided to pursue it, i went back to MicroCenter and had a replacement for the board i went home last night and install it, to find out i still have the same problems....
please help me to figure it out, it might have been the board, because everything worked out fine with my old EVGA x58 SLI LE, this really made me sad
i wanted this to work, worst comes to worst i would have to wait and exchange this board to a different one... i am now scared of GIGABYTE Products.
