560TI Overclock not holding.

560TI Overclock not holding.
« on: September 16, 2011, 09:15:27 am »
I have a Gigabyte 560 TI, comes clocked at 900/1800/2004 by default.
Thing is, I want to OC it more. I've ran some tests, and I found 950/1900/2230 to run stable in things like Heaven Engine, and MSI Kombuster.
Problem is, using MSI Afterburner, after running any game for, say, 20 seconds, the game will freeze for a second, which is the result of the GPU underclocking itself to its default values. I thought it might have something to do with my dual-monitor setup, but disabling my second monitor didn't help.
Is this an Afterburner issue? Is it a voltage issue? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT- Here's some system specs
I5 2500k
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB RAM @ 1333 MHz
Gigabyte P67A-D3-B3 mobo
Corsair CX-600W PSU
EDIT2 - I tried overclocking by less, same thing. I'll keep trying, until either it turns out the OC wasn't stable, or it's something else...
