Ive just got a GA-EX58-UD5 and a Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz on the way and was hoping that this memory would work with this setup ?
Corsair (TR3X6G1600C9) 6 GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600MHz XMS3 Memory CL9 (9-9-9-24) hoping to goto 12 gb

The only thing to bare in mind if you are planning to go to 12GB and fill all the banks is that Auto probably won't work and you will have to enter all the timings and voltages by hand. Not a problem but just don't expect to kjust throw it in and have it working. ;)

So if it will use 2100+ the 1600mhz should work fine hopefully..

thinking i might get 3 x 4gig 12gig
12GB kit (4GBx3), Ballistix 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 memory module
Kingston 12GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM (Kit of 3) KVR1333D3N9K3/12G
which would be better ?

Personally I prefer the Crucial Ballistix but if they are both compatible then it is which you prefer. The Kingston is of course slightly faster but you could probably tighten the timings with the Crucial.
