Looking for a Bios for my Cards 580 GTX 3GB(GV-N580UD-3GI )

Looking for a Bios for my Cards 580 GTX 3GB(GV-N580UD-3GI )
« on: November 27, 2011, 03:11:31 am »
I would usually just use a Bios from another card, but was looking here first for a Bios with higher voltage or max voltage at 1.21mV.
Just wanting to clockmy pair of cards to 1000 core, but with the limit of 1.15mV it is not possible.
Thanks for any help

Hi

Your best bet would be StationDrivers for various firmwares as Gigabyte doesn't seem to keep many GPU firmware updates available once a fresh one is released.

Made my own, would have loved if someone else did it,no tools support the card yet.

580 GTX 3GB(GV-N580UD-3GI )
modded BIOS for those who want it.I looked for this BIOS and there was none to be found on the net.So I did one up.

Always backup your own BIOS first and just add to files on bootable drive incase things go wrong.

Unzip and copy files to a boootable drive and just type in when booted.
nvflash -4 -5 -6 gf110.rom .
And it will update all cards from single to 4 GPUS.

What this Bios does is unlock voltage from 1.15mV to 1.213mV

You are going to absolutely fry that card using that much voltage on it.

Yes probably I will destry the cards but they are only graphics cards and its a hobby. One can always replace them.

ADVICE FROM MODERATOR

Please note that anyone using these sort of voltages can permanently damage their graphics card and so is done at your own risk.

No problem as you have posted it anyway. ;)

We just have to be careful not to lead any beginners down the wrong path where they could cause damage without realising.
