Hi,

I just bought few days ago the video card: Gigabyte gtx-580 1536mb gddr5
 Model name: GV-N580S0-15I

I have the latest drivers installed: version 285.62

And somehow while playing battlefield bad company 2 and/or battlefield 3 im getting texture flickering and its very bad.
I tried to google for it but didnt find and solution.

I also tried to play gta iv last night and everything moved so slow took minutes to load texture wich looks so bad and i used the maximum highest video options i could.
 Whats going on here ?

I have windows 7 64 bit i have g.skill 6gb memories i have i7 920 2.67ghz and gigabyte motherboard wich support both sli and crossfire x16 but im using one gtx 580 card !

I didnt open the pc case to check if the video card maybe isnt sitting in the slot good but i dont think this is the problem since there are no problems in regular use like now. its only on heavy games like GTA IV BF3 BFBC2 in GTA IV the graphics texture is taking lot of time to load while playing then when back to menu it almost freezing. In bfbc2 and bf3 the texture is flickering.

I tried to install older drivers version wich i have on the cd that came with the video card the version of the drivers there is: 266.67
But it didnt help at all. And it happen right when im starting to play the games not after an hour so you can say maybe the video card is over heating or something.

According to the program sppedFan now the temp of Temp3 is 50c all others are 35-40c and core 0 is 46c

Hi and welcome.

Firstly a few details of your setup would be a help.

Next this could be several things that could cause this issue from firmware on the card, to motherboard's BIOS, to drivers or even overheating. Post your list of parts including the PSU and we will have another look.
