GTX 560Ti OC - nvlddmkm.sys crashes even on desktop

Hello,

I just received my repaired GeForce GTX 560Ti OC, which I send in via Mindfactory.de to Gigabyte more then 4 weeks ago. I cleaned up all driver-remainings on my system (used an older nVidia graphic card for this). Then i exchanged my cards. So far so good...
After installing the new BIOS (which wasn't installed by Gigabyte), i installed the latest certified nVidia-drivers. When I restarted my system, it took a few moments, then major problems began (All on Desktop, not while running graphic-intense programs).

The "classic" error appears to happen more often then before (sometimes only milliseconds between the Blackscreens)
#1: Event-ID 4101 - nvlddmkm crash and reset

The other one didn't happend before and scared me alot!
#2: Event-ID 1001 - 0x00000116 (0xfffffa8005ff6010, 0xfffff8800f3e39c8, 0xffffffffc00000b5, 0x000000000000000a)

This causes my system to reboot.

So imagine my experience: Driver installed -> Blackscreens -> system crashes -> restart -> Blackscreens -> CRASH -> -> .....

So I restarted in Safe Mode. Drivers uninstalled (clean). Then restarted again and everything was fine again, except, that i cant use my drivers. My RAM is not corrupt, i checked that. I also installed 5 different nVidia-drivers: 266.44, 275.33, 285.38, 285.62, 285.79 (actual beta).
No driver helped, 275.33 was an instant BoD.

Before I send the card in, I experienced some issues with the card. Now it is so bad, that i can't work with my system.

Be patient, because we have a large number of request. (a joke). But it's true, the number of requests is high.

Seriously, I would ask you to give us more information about your hardware and your operating system (specify it).
The same for your software.

Do you use Performance Monitor for SQL Server?

Try this, download Driversweeper http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/  uninstall your Nvidia drivers. reboot into safe mode and run driversweeper, reboot and load the latest Nvidia drivers........OR........

Do you have a friend who you can take your card around too and install it on a different machine and see if you get the same problems??

I send back the "repaired" card the day after I received it. Mindfactory send me a new one and send the broken one back to Gigabyte. The new Card works good, no driver issues so far.


And no, I don't have any performance monitors running.

Try this, download Driversweeper http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/  uninstall your Nvidia drivers. reboot into safe mode and run driversweeper, reboot and load the latest Nvidia drivers........OR........

Thanks for the hint, but I can uninstall those drivers manually. I don't need any additional software for this.

Gigabyte has my card now and will check it.
