Gtx580 problem!~

Gtx580 problem!~

First, Sorry for my english~ i am come from Hong Kong, but I really cannot find out the solution for my question, So i hope you can help me.
I am using Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR mainboard and Galaxy Gts260 display.
everything is ok when i am playing BF3, but there are problem occur when i just buy a new Gigabyte GV-N580UD-15I,
when i play bf3, i will get black screen between 5-10mins.
I try 3Dmark11, cannot go though graphic test, and it will get black screen too. i have to restart my computer.!

at the beginning, i think it is my display card error, so i go to my friend home and insert my display card to his computer which is using z68 gigabyte MB. but no error occur...
then i go back home and buy a new power supply: 2themax 580W 80plus (which my friend also using with gigabyte gtx580). But.. i also get black screen too...

i want to ask if my mainboard bios not support GTX580, or what other either?
my pc config : Q8200,2G ram x 2 , 320G x 2 (raid 0) , dvd x 1

About your PSU, have you a posibility to return on the Shop and change it for other more powerfull?
600 Watts is the minimum.. But is not just the watts is important. Amperage (Amp) is very important for each rails.

Some PSU have one and unique rail (by exemple 35 watt) , other have 2 or 4 rails, (by exemple 2x18amp or 4x18amp).
So is important you understand if a device (by exemple, graphics card) need a 22 Amp...
If the PSU have a rail at 18 amp on 12volt, is not good for device ( for the graphics card by exemple ).
So make attention at Amperage, not just Wattage.

Finaly, what is the amperage on your new PSU (2themax 580W 80plus) ?

EDIT01: I think have find... check my second post. Just comfirm to me, if I have a find a good PSU, please.

I would also think that your power supply isn't really big enough. With a graphics card like that and whatever else you are also running off it you should be looking at a 650W minimum and if it were me I would go for at least a 850W just to give a bit of head room. The make is a good one though so try and stick with Enermax or something similar.

I agree comments by Dark Mantis, because for a configuration with a single GeForce GTX 580 graphics card NVIDIA specifies:
600 Watt or more powerfull
with a value combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 42 Amps or more
with one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI-Express minimum. (supplementary - more than one, is the best).

Just to demonstrate that when we do not all specifications from the manufacturer on the official website, you can find information on other websites, such as tests and reviews website.

Otherwise this PSU is the minimum recommended.
We must understand that if the PSU is more powerful, it will consume less because it will run cooler and especially it will be much quieter (the fans run slower).

Let me be clear, precise and say that I do not defend a very powerful power supplies (PSU).

I just wanted to understand the distinction of benefits between a minimum or acceptable power supply (PSU) and stronger (in this one, very high) PSU.

Check well the wattages (Combined Power) and especially the amperage (+12 combined).
Based on your budget trying to choose a more powerful model.
