If you can try different RAM then that is what I would do. Personally I prefer Corsair Vengeance RAM as I have had no problems (famous last words) with these. I always recommend that you try to purchase RAM that runs at the rated speed but at 1.5V as then you should have no major problems.

i havnt got any spare ram but think it sounds a good place to start, is there a possibility it could be the board , also i forgot to say when it shuts down i have to pull the psu cord out for at least 5-10 sec or it wont power up like its dead , and even if you leave it over night when it shuts down you have to still take the cord out and wait before you can power it up in the morn ???
