Hi
Just had my WXP Pro re-installed, all working fine except no sound.

Does not seem to have Realtek activated

Volume  Control says....there are no active mixer devices available.

The techie friend who re-installed is away for 3 weeks so I am stuck for Sound.

Any advice please (Chipset CD not in box)

Hi Gez

all you need is to find out model name of your MB then go to Gigabyte website to download the sound drivers (Realtek) in order to install.
ZX-S & C64 are still my favourites ;-)

Tell us what model motherboard you have, for example, GA-xxxx
All Gigabyte boards start with GA-

Tell us what it is and we will guide you how to download it from the web
