No Front Panel Audio on GA-EP45-UD3P
« on: October 28, 2009, 02:47:11 pm »
Hi,

I am running XP SP3 and a E6750 2GB RAM, my main audio is optical out to a Bose system. My antec Sonata case has a front panel audio connections lined to a (2x5) connector that I have plugged into the F_Panel audio header on the MB.  When I try and plug a headset with microphone into the front panel nothing happens.  If I try this on the rear connections the audio pop up acknowledges a connection (that is how I have it configured) and the headset works fine.  When I try from the front nothing!!! I have verified the configuration  to enable front panel jack detection and mute rear panel when front is plugged in (actually I have tried all combinations).  I have even looked in the bios to see if there was something that enables this connection on the MB.

Any help would be appreciated.

Carl
