ATI will not officially support DX9 cards in windows 7. How nice of them! Wonder if there trying to force peoples hand while they have the DX11 market cornered?

Oh noooooo  :o

Well, at least users can choose to install the ATI Catalyst Windows Vista graphics driver under Windows 7.
Most of the graphics listed are not that new, ATI have been pushing DX 10.1 for over one year now.

When Microsoft say that they will not support Windows 7 - what exactly does it mean!

Interesting story... thx Pottypete

Seems like a sensible choice to be honest, will cost them less now with less cards to support. Anybody using one of those cards on Windows 7 who knows what a driver is will probably be upgrading anyway...
