Possible issue with my P67A-UD7-B3
« on: January 13, 2012, 11:16:18 am »
I have a P67A-UD7-B3 motherboard with an i7 2600K oc'd to 4.8 GHz. I'm using F6 BIOS. Anyway, in the BIOS, I have the turbo set to x48, multi step load line at level 6 and vcore at 1.340v. When testing with Intel Burn Test this gives me a vcore of 1.356 however it drops way down to 1.320 at times then pops back up to 1.356. Am I missing something here or is my board a bit funky?

Cheers,
Ross

This is your idle & load speeds, so the lower # would be idle speed,  while the higher # would be load.

From the information you supplied ..... I think this is the "V" droop your board is experiencing ...... goggle V-droop and load line calibration to get a better understanding of it.

If this IS the vdroop on your board ..... not bad at all for the clock  ;)

I would agree that it is a very acceptable amount.  Often it is far greater. ;)
