Gigabyte On/Off charge & AutoGreen Features
« on: January 21, 2012, 11:14:09 pm »
hi all

i have the  GA-MA785GT-UD3H (rev. 1.0)

in the product page http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3154#ov

giga says it support the on/off charge of iphone, ipad, ipod etc....... http://www.gigabyte.com/MicroSite/185/on-off-charge.htm

& also in the download tab they provide link to a program called AutoGreen , which supposed to save power while you arent near the PC

buy using a bluetooth dongle & bluetooth iphone....... http://www.gigabyte.com/microsite/68/tech_090814_p55_f-auto-green.htm

the problems:

on/off charge:

as you can look at the link i posted this mobo  doesnt  even have the on/off USB port to support this feature.

AutoGreen:

again this feature mini site its written its only for SMART TPM & AutoGreen MOBOS .

they eve wrote in the loweer " Note: GIGABYTE Smart TPM/Auto Green motherboards do not include a Bluetooth® receiver; the addition of a 3rd party Bluetooth receiver is required"

also if you look at the upper & chose the modells tab you would see that all the suportting mobos is intels P55 series..

Hi

I have only noticed it on the P55 range of motherboards myself but I am not sure that it is restricted to them only. To me it would seem that the two programs are at conflict with each other but it isn't something I use anyway so I have no experience with it.  I would recommend asking GGTS for help with this one.
