GA-Z68XP-UD4 - Hi Def Audio Device in Device Manager
« on: February 24, 2012, 12:26:43 am »
hi, i have an odd entry in device manager under the "sound video game controllers" section it shows 4 seperate "High Definition Audio Device" (see attached screen shot) for now i have disabled all of them in device manager, if i uninstall them they just come back.

i was hoping some one could tell me what device they are related to as i have no idea lol, my system specs below;

GA-Z68XP-UD4 - Rev.1 - Bios F6 (onboard audio disabled in bios)
i5 2500k (onboard gfx disabled in mobo bios)
gtx560ti (did not install nvidia sound driver)
xonar dg (installed drivers and sound card working well)

any help appreciated, thanks Rob

ahh thanks DM, ive unistalled those 4 entrys and disabled the nvidia audio by disabling the High Definition Audio Controller under System devices, seems better to do that.
