The title pretty much sums it up.
I bought this motherboard and I only got 4pin 12v on my PSU but the motherboard has 8pins on the ATX_12V.
Will connecting the 4pins I got where they fit fry my mother?

I will eventually get a molex to 4pin or whatever, but its weekend and all computer stores are closed here until monday.

So can I start using my motherboard with that 4pins?

thanks for the help

You can BUT it might run at a reduced level and honestly when you talk of a molex connector turned into a 4 pin cpu plug thru an adapter you scare me even more.  The PSU is the heart of your build and you want to run it off a under par PSU. Get a PSU that has a native 8 pin cpu plug so you can get proper voltages to everything. Otheriwse risk losing everything in the meltdown that usually occurs.
