BIOS/SATA Port Problem

I just built a computer using the GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 Motherboard and when I go into BIOS my SSD, HDD, and my CD drive aren't showing up. I know the CD drive has power so I'm assuming the SSD and the HDD do as well.

I have my SSD in SATA 3_0 Port and the HDD in SATA 3_1 and the CD drive in SATA 2_2. I want the OS to save on the SSD but I can't even run the OS because the CD Drive isn't working.

This is my first computer build so it may be something I'm just over looking but any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are using AHCI mode, or RAID, then drives will not appear in the Standard CMOS page, this is normal.  They will be visible in the 1, 2, 3 boot order and in the Hard Disk Boot Priority page (Advanced BIOS page)

Move your CD/DVD drive to SATAII_5.  Use F12 at startup to get to the boot menu, then choose your CD drive by name or generic CD/DVD entry to boot from CD

I tried that and it didn't work.  The CD Drive is on and running but the BIOS isn't recognizing it or anything else plugged in a SATA port.

So, you are in AHCI mode correct?   And on the Advanced BIOS page you cannot set HDD for the first entry in 1, 2, 3 boot order, and also cannot move your hard drive to the top of the list in the Hard Disk Boot Priority menu page at the top of Advanced BIOS page?

You have the Intel port enabled, and set to AHCI correct?   It's the settings at the top of the Integrated Peripherals BIOS page.  This is how you want it to look

Integrated Peripherals

eXtreme Hard Drive  ........................ Disabled
XXX SATA Control Mode  ..................... AHCI
SATA Port0-3 Native Mode ............. Either

If that is how you have it, please show us an image of that, and an image of 1, 2, 3 boot order options and an image of the hard disk boot priority options page.

Are these new drives?   Have you tried other cables in case you have bad cables?

Have you installed all the chipset drivers for the motherboard ?
