Hi satriani666,  ;)

Welcome to forum,

Motherboard page:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3852#sp

Have you read -reRead your manual about ga-z68x-ud3-b3 ?

http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-z68x-ud3-b3_e.pdf

Many infos are in this manual.  :P

The Thermaltake SpinQ VT is compatible with II55, but is not recommended. Because the fan is too small. And if a minimum speed are low noise or silencious, middle and Higher speed are it is much noisy.

So change a model of radiator for a 140mm fan or 120mm Fan BEFORE make a Overclocking CPU.

You have a suberbe case:
http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/product/chassis/midtower/armorplusmx/vh8000swa.asp

You can change BIOS settings to decrease or increase the power of the CPU. But read your manual before and be patient.

You want to put memory in slots 1+3 or 2+4, physically counting from the CPU outwards.  Which set of those does not matter, either will be fine.

I'd recommend a cooler before you overclock, the stock coolers are barely good enough for stock speeds.  Once you have a better cooler we can help you with overclocking.   But for now mainly just leave things on auto or set stock values, such as set your memory voltage, and you can set stock QPI/Vtt, and Vcore too if you want.  And you can set your memory speed to 1600 if you have not already, and set timings manually to 999-24

Gloup_Gloup and Lsdmeasap thanks for reply.  :D
i will check MB manual but will stay on auto settings untill i buy cpu cooler

1. btw, which cooler can you recommend me? i dont need 5.5GHz or more, i would be fine with 4.5 GHz, so i dont need extreme cooler
my budget is max 80-85$ for cpu cooler

2. its better to enable ASCI before instaling win 7 ? i have vertex 3

3. it should be 64 bit OS 'couse i have more then 4 GB ram ?

4.GA-Z68X-UD3-B3 , is it something wrong with this board becouse i didnt find realy tests, i found lot more tests for GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
only difereces between theese 2 boards is: Integrated Graphics Processor on Ud3H board. will i lose some good option or this is only integrated graphic? im using hd6870 vapor-x

thanks again

Hi again,  ;)

Answer:

001. Noctua NH-U12P SE2

002. AHCI Enabled.

003. 64bit yes

004. Your HD6870 vapor-x is the best.

Most any cooler that is roughly your budget will do the job of cooling your CPU at 4.5Ghz. I asm surprised that the Noctua won't fit in your case though as it is a good size.

Update your BIOS using Qflash or DOS, here is a guide
http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/28441-gigabyte-latest-beta-bios.html

If the BIOS wont flash, it may be too large, so you may need to use @BIOS instead.  If so, please see the method and comments, and links I posted here (Just to download the latest version for links I mean)
http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,8565.msg68041.html#msg68041

Get your BIOS here, latest is F12
