this may be a stupid question but i have no idea what port is what is the GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2 compattible with an asus dvb-T/pal tv tuner?its the one from this pc

Hi

It is a PCI card and I don't think your motherboard has one of these older slots. No my mistake I have just checked and it does have one. It is the white slot at the bottom of the motherboard. IOt is marked PCI.

No, hopefully it will work ok. They can be a problem to get working properly in my experience(TV tuner cards) but apart from that generalisation there is no reason to think it should fail.
