AMD FX-6100 / 970A-UD3 new Bios F5 Question (Steam enabled games)

Hi,
I bought a new PC about 3 weeks ago and im facing more or less serious Problems with some Games.(Deus ex Human revolution, saints row the third. portal 2, and now mass effect 1)
When i googled it, it said it had something to do with steam enabled games, although i did purchase and register only portal 2 via steam.
I run the F4 bios version and now i want to know whether i should get my bios updated at the store where i bought the pc.
Will the new bios version fix these problems or is there any fix?

Edit: A temporary fix in some cases was a Orochi-CEG.exe I don't really know what this is, but it kept my PC from crashing with Deus ex, Portal, and Saints row.

Motherboard: GA 970A-UD3/rev1.1
Bios: F4
CPU: AMD FX 6100 Zambezi
GPU: Geforce Zotac GTX 570
Memory: 2x Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 mit 4GB
SSD: Samsung SSD 830 Series 128.0GB (Windows partition)
HDD: Seagate ST31000523AS
OS: WIN 7 64 bit
PSU: Corsair GS 600

Hi, You should update to a newest posible BIOS. That will help You run Portal 2 for sure(I had a client with same motherboard and CPU and it helped)
As for the other games it should help get rid off crashing issue but im not sure if You wont have some performance problems in Deus Ex.
You should also get the 2 windows patches for FX CPU's , they helped in some cases to run Shogun 2 and Deus Ex
