Hey guys i m seriously running out of ideas about why i get BSOD with ACPI.sys while installing windows 7 (happens when the logo of windows 7 appears in the middle of the screen after files are loaded)

I have tried:

1. using 1 stick of memory (it's a 2 GB kingston, passed memtest86, absolutely not fauly) on different slots - no luck
2. using the bare bones: removed all hardware except HDD, DVD drive, mobo, and the CPU - no luck
3. tried different DVD drives and HDD - no luck
4. tried installing from USB - no luck
5. flashed bios to the latest F14 - no f***ing luck
6. messed around in the power management settings in bios, because i heard ACPI.sys has something to do with those - again no luck

windows vista installs just fine but i dont wanna use that piece of s***, please HELP!!
