Hello,
After doing a clean install of Windows 7, I downloaded the Realtek LAN Driver driver from the gigabyte website (
http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3449#ov ),as well as a multitude of others from the same site, but the computer still wont detect that an Ethernet cable is plugged in. However Device manager doesn't detect any problems, no yellow exclamation marks. I've tried restarting and leaving it a few minutes but still no luck.
I've spent all day on Google but can't find anyone that's still having problems even after installing the driver, so I decided to make a post here.
I know the cable works as I've tried with two other computers, and it worked with mine only a couple days ago before the wipe( I remember downloading the same drivers).
System Specs:
i7-930
6gb corsair 1600mhz ram
gtx 480
1tb hdd
750w psu
The bios version is "FA", as far as I know I've reset the cmos as everything was back to default in the bios. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Mack.
