Keep CPU-Z open and run a Prime95 stress test. It should jump back up I think its just AMD cool n quiet disabling 2 of the cores.

Also try

Control Panel >Administrative Tools > System Configuration and select the Boot tab in the System Configuration dialog box. Click the Advanced options...at the top of the dialogue box uncheck the Number of Processors box, click OK and then Apply and reboot.

When the computer reboots, return to the above dialogue box and tick the Number of Processors box, and you should then see 4 cores! Again click OK and Apply and reboot.

Out of interest which one worked? Am guessing the Windows fix?

the second one.

i'm using dual-core CPU when intall win7,
seem win7 will automatic select the max number of core after install,
but won't automatic update after CPU has been changed...

thanks again for great help!
