Hello. I have a Phenom 965BE with M720-US3 board. The motherboard temp reported by everest is not the motherboard temp. Actually Aux temp is motherboard temp. So what is the motherboard temp reporting?

probably some part of this motherboard monitor software reporting is rubbish as 54 C for MB temp ? nearly the same as CPU ?

compare it yourself with bios h/w monitoring and easytune readings

Those temps  were taken whilst running prime95. Usually the Everest motherboard temp is around 2 degrees above cpu temp. When I compare the temps with bios then Everest Aux temp = Bios System temp. Everest motherboard temp does monitor something but what?

A#27:There is no standard for sensor registers layout, so the "Aux" temperature could show the temperature of the CPU or the motherboard, or might be a non-connected wire of the sensor chip, and so it could show a bogus value.

I know Aux is System Temp by comparing it to temps in easytune 6. Everest Motherboard temp is measuring some sort of cpu temp but I already have a correct cpu temp. As soon as I disconnect the cpu fan wire Everest motherboard temp starts to climb.
