Hi

It is a hard thing to do, advising someone on a product like they fans as a lot depends on the budget, how quiet they want them, how many there will be, etc, etc. If you could give a few more details maybe we could come up with some better answers.

i need 4 fans. Budget uoto £40. I do not Game so I guess I am not likely to push them hard and expect the noise to be on the low side.

Thanks that helps a bit more. I am afraid though that for your budget you won't get the better fans that work with less noise like the Noctua or the Scythe Gentle Typhoons etc. There are many fans that do fall inside your spend so it is just a case of finding some that suit. Do you have a colour scheme in mind and are you wanting any LEDS ? Have a look here as this is where I go for a lot of my gear :

I would suggest that you require a speed of about 1500rpm.

You will find that they are very efficient and helpful. If in doubt give them a call his name is Mick.

Thanks. Will call him tomorrow. As I said above I have a Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 case and I can see PWM fans made by them on his site.

Well good luck and I think that it is probably a good idea to stick with the same make of fans.  ;)
