GA-X58A-UD7 Shut down problem

GA-X58A-UD7 Shut down problem

I got this machine 5 days ago. After i start using it for few days i noticed that everytime i try to shut it down. it will be like this.
windows showing "shutting down as usual. then wiered things happened. windows has gone off also LCD gone off but my computer still keep running for (Everytime around 5 mins) before it shut down completely!!! Can anyone help please?

CPU: i920
RAM: G.Skill 2x3Ghz CL8
VGA: XFX GTS 250
PSU: Zalman 1000w
MOBO: X58A-UD7
Case: Cosmos S
HD: 2 x W.D 7200 Black 640GB(RAID 0)

Is it a fresh install of windows? Are you using latest BIOS and chipset drivers?

Check installed programs as one seems not to be shutting down properly,
more info regarding O/s required please,
