Installation question - which SATA port for my SSD boot drive ( UP5 TH )

I'm going to be building a new machine soon using the Z77 UP5 TH

I seem to have a few options for SATA ports, should I connect a single SSD boot drive to the Marvell controlled port or one of the Z77 chipset controlled ones?

Thanks

When using a SSD connect it to Sata_0 so whichever controller runs Sata_0 is the one you will use.

Only use a different port if that one gives you trouble i use my Sata_0 port on mine which is the marvell controller and it has worked flawlessly for me and very fast bench's and in real applications it is also a world of difference.

I also use a Corsair Force 3 240 gig SSD.

Yes, use SATA3_0  It is the bottom white port.

The Marvel controller on this board is for mSATA and eSATA so you can just disable it unless you're using those devices.

Always use port 5 & 6 for external/Optical drives.
