Gigabyte at CES 2013 has come clean and officially announced the S1082 as well as the S1185. The S1082 as we know runs a 17watt Intel Celeron CPU, in the same shell as the S1080 and S1081 before it. They just dropped the buttons on the left (not the mouse buttons, they remain) and installed Windows 8. Internally of course the motherboard has changed, but the ports are the same except there is no USB 3.
The S1185 is the mystery tablet. According to reports it has an 11.6 inch screen with 1080p resolution with an Ivy Brodge processor and Windows 8 Pro. They carried other the buttons and ports from the S1081. So I think it has USB 3. More details will follow as they become available.
