G1 Sniper M3 rev 1.0 No mouse function from Ps2 socket.

Would there be any reason for the mouse not to function on this board I have used a splitter for Mouse & keyboard but whilst i can get keyboard function I cannot get the mouse to work even directly connected.
USB wireless mouse will work as will usb mouse which i managed to steal from another PC but not the PS2 is there switch I need to change in Bios which is now F9

I have done some more configuration work and have now loaded The Gigabyte chipset drivers and all the hardware driver but still the mouse does not work off the PS2 port
I found a PS2 to usb splitter and with mouse & keyboard now plugged into the usb port directly next to the PS2 port on the MB everything works fine so the KB_MS_USB socket works for Keyboard and USB but not for Mouse.
Does this mean a RMA

Would it be anything to do with the bent CPU socket Pin I found but that does not make sense as the mouse is using the same input channel off the USB as the PS2 for the keyboard.

This is the only issue now with this board, I cannot connect a PS2 mouse to the PS2 port it just does not function, keyboard functions ok which is half the port but not mouse.

I have tried a PS" port splitter and still only keyboard works.
Now if I use a USB mouse no problem if I use a PS" splitter to USB cable then still no problem its gt to be a faulty PS2 port. Unless anyone knows if there is a setting I should try first.

Things are not getting any better as the keyboard now no longer functions off this port, the PS2  port seems to have stopped working altogether.
Does anyone know if there is a bios setting that controls this?

I can run off the usb ports using PS2 to usb converters. So I am at least  progressing with my set up but is it worth it?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, nor does it seem like anyone else does. 

Best advice I can offer is for you to contact Tech Support here: http://ggts.gigabyte.com/tech.asp?ClassID=2&Country=U.K.&SourceWeb=B2C and see if they are aware of an issue with the P/S2 connector or a BIOS issue that may be causing the problem.

This is a Bios & Opsys issue plus the specification of teh board leaves a bit of an open interpretation of the PS2 port it actually states in the manual you can run a Mouse OR Keyboard it does not state you can run both of the same single port as fitted.

I had to install Mouse driver from Microsoft and in bios set the port 60/64 to be enabled and Opsys set to Win 8 then it all works for a mouse connected to the port I do not have a spare keyboard PS2 to test so will assume it will for now.
Bios is now Beta version F10c

Gigabyte have yet to reply on my question as to if the single Ps2 port is actually meant to run both mouse & keyboard off it using a splitter cable.

This is now solved Gigabyte has confirmed the PS2 port is only meant to run either not both.
So its either PS2 Mouse or PS2 Keyboard they actually recommend Keyboard off the Ps2 and mouse off USB.

So I now only have the little odd issues of Bios resetting and odd reboots. but I am tweaking a lot at the moment.
