Hi all,  ;D

been having problems getting the Atheros lan optimiser to work for the z77-d3h rev 1.0 board..

the atheros driver seems to be working fine, no problems there, just can't get the atheros lan optimiser (by qual com?) from the gigabyte website to run.

I am using win 8 pro 64bit.

When i open the L.O it asks to run as aministrater..  no problem... if I leave the D-link router unpluggerd (talk talk) the the software opens fine but as soon as I plug the ethernet cable back into the router within a few seconds win 8 blue screens... :'( :'( :'(

I use mnually configured IP and dns settings as opposed to "auto"

Anyone else had any experience of this please..
