Can u advice me something, my gigabyte motherboard turns on and doesn't display and reboots after few seconds. I might think that main bios not working because when I removed all ddr3 rams it didn't beeps. So please tell me is there any way to use backup bios as my z77-d3h has dual bios. So how it will work?

Please answer me as I don't have any alternative to use my pc.

Alright here is the complete details.

I was using my mobo with 4 X 4gb Kingston DDR3 1333 bus. Core i5 2400. 500 watts supply and ati 4850. And every thing was working fine just before yesterday it stopped working and when I turns it on it wasn't displaying anything I have done ever thing removing CMOS battery. Removed every thing and pulled of my mobo from the casing. And tried so many times but still no display. I tried with 1 ddr3 stick and nothing happened. Tried different psu as well.

So now when I turns it on it doesn't display and reboots after 6-7 secs because I can see the fan stops and starts spinning again. I tried every thing and my friend told me it has some bios issues but I don't understand how it happened. He isn't a technician so he just said that.

Please help me to find the way.

Did you try the other Bios. The switch is down by the front panel connection. Change that switch with the power off.

or try without video card.
Did you flash BIOS before this happen?(or updating any driver?)
Overclocked or default voltage?

This model is without BIOS switch.

Btw,
try to kick Backup BIOS:

1. Shut off the power supply using the switch on the back of the PSU, wait 10-15 seconds.
2. Press and hold the case Power On switch, then while still holding turn on the power supply from the switch on the rear.
3. Still holding the case power on switch, the board will start, once it does release the case power on switch and
shut off the power supply via the switch on the back of the unit.
 (Do the latter two parts as quickly as you can once the board starts)
4. The board will shut down.
5. Turn the power supply back on using the switch on the rear of the unit.
6. Turn on the motherboard by pressing the case power on button.

Once the board starts this time you should see the Gigabyte splash screen, or POST page, then the Auto-Recovery from Dual BIOS will kick in.
You will see a checksum error, and then recovery from BACKUP BIOS will begin. Once it is done reboot your machine and enter the BIOS and load optimized defaults then save/apply/reboot back to BIOS.

I tried this one as well and yah using it without gpu I mean trying it with on board VGA. Didn't flash bios and never tried to overclock.

Ok would you please let me know one thing can you please explain me in details about stage 3 or no. 3 part please. How I will switch off the psu after holding power switch.

And if display is not coming how come I will see the bios screen?

I don't understand switch on the read of the unit. What's that?

Typo,should be on the rear of the unit

which BIOS you using?

i'm using F14. so do you recommend any stable Bios version?

I love gigabyte really and i am very happy its back on track.

If you don't have any other issue,stay with F14.
