P55A-UD4P - mhdd problem & memory
« on: March 16, 2013, 07:08:23 am »
Hi

I have the P55A-UD4P whit 2 hdd of 1Tb (=2Tb)
With sata
I plug them to sata2_0 & sata2_1
In the bios the IDE is on and the sata like native is on

But still the mhdd don't recognize the hdd

What I do wrong ?

And I have memory cards DDR3 1333 of 4gb (2x2)
I want to add more 8gb (4x2)
I want to buy Kingston
 KVR1333D3N9/8G

This ok?

Go to Standard CMOS Features. What is showing on the screen. Is it set to Auto in there to detect the drives.

Go to Advanced BIOS Features. Look in Hard Disk Boot Priority to see if they are showing up in there.

One other thing what are the HD sata 2 / 3gb or sata 3 / 6gb ?

If you unplug them and plug in another HD with the same cable do they show up ?
