Hey guys,
Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, I searched and wasn't able to find this exact issue on the forum. My system is about 2-3 weeks old and consists of:
AMD FX-8350
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 rev 1.x
Gigabyte GV-R7870C-2GD
G. Skill Sniper RAM 2 x 8 GB
Rosewill Xtreme 750W PSU
Samsung 830 128GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
Samsung SH 224BB DVD-RW
TP-Link 450Mbps Wireless Card
Rosewill Challenger U3 Case
Win 7 Pro OS
Basically, just over the past week my rear USB 3.0 ports simply stopped working. My Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver was plugged into one and when I turned my PC on a few days ago it wasn't working. The receiver worked fine in that slot until then. I plugged it into a USB 2.0 port and it began working again, so the problem isn't the receiver itself. Today I tried to plugin an external HDD that I'm using for backups and system images into both of the rear USB 3.0 slots and that wouldn't work either. I've installed the latest Etron USB drivers from the Gigabyte website and still no go. Is there another set of drivers I need to install, or is there something in BIOS that I need to change? Any help would be highly appreciated!
