Thanks for the replies everyone I have the answer

Silly me didn't know that and the memory is 4x4gb...

Time to get some certified memory...

If anyone can recommend good 8gb sticks it would be appreciated, faster the better.

The HyperX ram is fine with this board .. as before just leave everything on Auto in the bios and get two DDR2000 sticks.

Be aware of the odd ram position for dual channel as it's not side by side - read the manual
