Is it possible to use a Intel g2020 processor with this board? I know the official cpu support list says no, but does anyone know if any of the BIOS updates allow me to use it?

Hi banhax,

The processor have a 1155 socket.  Motherboard too ..

Intel® Pentium® processors are listed in the spcification.

Intel® Pentium® Processor G2020 (3M Cache, 2.90 GHz)  22nm

Its launch date is Q1 '13
http://ark.intel.com/fr/products/71070/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G2020-3M-Cache-2_90-GHz
his may explain why it is not in the official list.

But I do not understand why you not take a Intel® Pentium® Processor G870  32nm
(3M Cache, 3.10 GHz) and Intel® HD Graphics have     850 MHz and 1.1Ghz

Have you ever the G2020 processor or motherboard?
Why not to try it in a store? Befor purchase it..,

About BIOS, I do not the information for G2020, but I find that:
Intel 22nm CPU support update  by version BIOS F3, probably F8 too...

Actually, I had the g2020 in another motherboard, also gigabyte. I did try to use the g2020 with the h61n-usb3 but the computer won't boot.
