We recently bought four GA-B75-D3V(rev. 1.1) boards to replace some old server kit (two to use and two spares).
One of the boards was installed and booted immediately to the OS without any problems or changes made in the BIOS.
The OS we are using is called Open-e and is hosted on a USB DOM that plugs directly onto the motherboard with the F_USB1 port.
This board is working perfectly and the OS runs fine.
The Second board on the other hand is causing us some real problems.
The system will not boot to the USB DOM and will not even see it in BIOS.
We have tried the DOM on the other board and it works perfectly and we have tried both of the spare motherboards.
We have been through the BIOS setting one page at a time to see if there is any difference in the setting from the working machine to the non-working and we cannot find anything.
The only thing that jumps out is on the peripherals page; on the working board under “Port 60/64 Emulation” there is “USB Storage Device” this is not present on the non-working board.
We have done all of the obvious things, Clear BIOS, Update BIOS to F8.
What am I missing?
Thanks
