Hello all, i hope for some help (and sorry for my english

).

I will buy some new components for my PC:

Intel Core i5-4670 (Haswell)
Gigabyte Z87X-D3H
4x4GB Kingstone 10y Annyversary edition (DDR3, 1600MHz, CL9, 1.65V)
SoundBlaster Reacon 3D (PCIE)

From old pc i take (works fine):
MSI 660GTX
OCZ 550W ZT Series
Kingston V200+ 128GB
WD Black 640GB
WD Black 1T
WD Green 2TB
Sweex Wi-Fi card (PCI)

After instalation W7HP (legal) is system unstabe, BSOD comes after hour (+/- 30mins).In most cases come whit error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

Clean installation means:

I Will try: (in that order)
Reinstall OS
Update BIOS to F5
Reinstall OS
Reinstall OS to classic HDD (WD RE 320GB)
Unplug Sound Card
Unplug Wifi card
Reinstall OS to classic HDD (WD RE 320GB)
Unplug ALL ther HDD
Reinstall OS to classic HDD (WD RE 320GB)
Run Windows Memory tester (57times) - no error
Unplug 2 of 4 RAM sticks

Hi sonyc,

Probably you have a timing wrong....

But before... have you check each memory stick ?
Test one by one, in each RAM Bank (slot).

Maybe you have a ram not good.
Or
Maybe a slot have a problem...

But make a test... for find where are the problem.

For test, use SPD profil for ram
Otherwise make a Load Optimize Default in Bios, if you not in RAID Disk situation.

What is the exactly model of RAM?
Please, add a web link of brands....

Other things:
Do not install the last driver nVIDIA. He cause many problems.
Keep 314.14 or 312.22 drivers.

Hi sonyc,

For delete a post, you use a Remove Button , on the top of the post to delete.

Windows do not like a situation with more one stick of RAM, when you install it...

So after install windows finish, normal session are okay....

Try to put all Ram. One by one, if needed...

Hi, I was so happy with my success ... but today when installing windows updates ... BSOD again - BAD_POOL_HANDLER

i still have only 2 of 4 ram connected, i only added HDD´s

Now install the update again, this time with no problem but I lost confidence, i need to work on my PC...

Gloup_Gloup - This is not exactly standard procedure but I'll try. I think it's simply a problem of new technology on the market?

Other things:
Do not install the last driver nVIDIA. He cause many problems.
Keep 314.22 drivers.
Have you use this drivers?

About NVIDIA drivers:

Remove last drivers nvidia, clean with CCleaner and Wise Disk Cleaner and Wise Registry Cleaner

If you use Windows:

Exactly the same problem here.

Seems this Motherboard does not work with 4 Memory Slots Filled. Their are many messages on the Net about it.

Runs perfectly stable as long as you only use 2 memory Slots.

So far Gigabyte is not responding to Tickets about this problem.

I have a Quad Channel Corsair 4x4GB 1600Mhz that I took from my 3930k System. I know the Ram works perfectly. In the Z87X-D3H I get constant BSOD's if I install all 4 sticks. With only 2 sticks its perfect.

I don't understand how this could possibly fix this problem. The BSOD's are random. Not just restricted to the IRST Driver. But Yes, I updated all the drivers to the latest anyway. Sometimes the Board has to try a couple of times to even Post. It powers up, tries to Post. Powers down then tries again. Not common but happened a couple of times. And only with 4 Sticks installed.

From what I can tell it appears the Wrong Stick is getting addressed. IE, When the CPU is trying to access the first stick it gets the second or vice versa. The Number of different Error causes seems like a Wrongly addressed Stick. All sorts of Errors from many different files. Several Drivers and several system files including Kernal Errors. Most frequent Error is IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TOO. Which means a Driver or a program tried to access a memory address outside it's correct range. Also get Page Fault Errors.

With only 2 sticks its 100% Stable.

The Shop I bought the Z87X-D3H tested another Motherboard they had in stock. They tested with Gskill Ram. I tried Corsair Ram.

They have comfirmed this Motherboard DOES NOT work correctly with all 4 memory slots filled.

They gave me a Full refund on the Motherboard and also sent all their stock back to Gigabyte for a credit.

This Motherboard indeed does not work with all 4 memory slots filled.

I am so overwhelmed w/ the multiple reports of this problem on the z87 boards, and I'm wondering why there hasn't been any update from GB or why they can't replicate the problem.
