Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone could give me a bit of advice -
I have a GA-Z77-UP4 TH with BIOS F10b, with an Intel i7 3770 3.40, and I am looking to install this memory, Patriot Intel Extreme Masters 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Quad Channel Kit
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-069-PA&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=813From what I have gathered, the standard BIOS settings (optimised defaults) are not suitable for 16Gb of RAM, and some of the voltages need to be tweaked in order for the memory to function correctly... sadly, that is where I am stuck
As far as I can tell, the CPU/VTT voltage is set to 1.05, but should be increased to allow for the increased memory, any idea how much this should go up by? Would other factors such as CPU speeds etc affect how much it should be increased?
Any advice is much appreciated!
