I built this PC for editing.
For some reason my GTX 680 will not work with my motherboard. I've been using my PC worth the GTX 580 from my old computer but school is about to start and I need my computer for editing.
When I first connected my 680 to my Assassin 2 I couldn't get it to work for a couple of days. The card would work, but the computer would get stuck at the POST screen. It wouldn't allow me to choose any of the post screen menus. I tried every method, Even taking apart the entire rig and putting it back together, but no hope. So as a last hope before going to a PC technician I tried my old GTX 560 card and It worked. So I exchanged my GTX 680 with a new one just recently thinking that a broken video card was the problem. I put everything in, start up up my PC and unfortunately I get stuck on the POST screen, AGAIN!
I don't know what to do, IM STUCK! Gigabyte doesn't have customer service over the phone so I have to post my questions on forum sites.
What do you think the problem is? Does it have something to do with the BIOS? Should I try with something newer/older? Do you think I should go to a computer technician? PLEASE HELP!
