Hi guys, I have a minor problem, just bot this mobo with the i5 4440 and new seagate 7200 1TB HDD (paritiion to 400/600 GB). Win 7 is installed at the 400gb.
500GB is hitachi and already 5 years old.
at AHCI,
Sata:
Port 0 : dvd rom
Port 1: seagate 1TB HDD (where win 7 is installed)
Port 2-6: regardless which one I put for my spare storage 500 GB.
with the 1TB HDD running alone, Win7 boots very fast, less than 40 secs.
when I plugged the sata cable into port 2 or to 6, with 2 HDD running, the loading takes about 9 mins at the WIN7 Logo with the word: STARTING WINDOWS.
And when in windows, my computer shows only the 400GB and the Hitachi, the 600GB from the main disk which I partion is gone.
Can anyone enlight me on this? I have another 1TB of HDD to add for storage... but the loading is way too slow, same for shut down as well.
