New build, wont enter bios, blank screen. 970a-ds3p fx 8320, does post

Just built new system and having a few issues. I have a ga 970a-ds3p with fx 8320. It boots, beeps at me and the motherboard screen pops up. It gives me 3 options to press f9 for styterm information, f12 for boot configuration and q flash. Which ever i press it leads me to a blank screen. If nothing is pressed it will ask me to reboot and select a bootable media.Cant do that because I cant enter bios. Im using one g of ram to enter bios on start up.

Haven't q flashed it yet, is that a option, because on motherboard web site it does say this processor will work with a f1 bios update.

Any information will be appreciated.

If you have another computer put your hard drive in it and initlize it then format it then put back in new buld.otherwise put in  os disk and change bios to boot from cd-usb whichever you use so you would hit f12. Also include what operating system you are using and size and make of hard drive.
