Can't enter bios of my GA-Z87UD5H

Can't enter bios of my GA-Z87UD5H
« on: November 23, 2013, 11:09:46 am »
Hi, when I turn on my system based on Gigabyte z87xud5h and Intel i7 4770k processor I can't enter the bios because it seems like my Logitech g-110 keyboard still off untill windows is loaded. The keyboard is connected to the usb port nearest the ps2 port on the back of mother board.
Someone can help me to solve this problem?

Try a old Ps2 keyboard.
X299X Aorus Master, i9-9940x-3.30Ghz, 64gb G-Skill DDR4-2400, MSI RTX-3070 8GB, Cooler Master case, Thermal-take PSU 850w, 1-M2-NMVe SSD-512gb, 3-Pny 1TB SSD, 2-WD Raptors 1TB, Win 10 pro 64bit, Asus 35" 144Mhz Monitor.

I had the exact problem yesterday with my Logitech K800 remote Keyboard, was also not able to enter the bios.

Did a clear cmos and this did the trick, but I also had problems with my previous GB Z77 mb, these new
motherboards do not like remote keyboard receivers.

Believe it might be the usb 3.0 issue which is causing this, when i did a clean W7 install I had to use a old
wired keyboard, otherwise I was not even able to install w7.

So based on the above I assume wireless keyboards are still a issue with these motherboards.

My Mouse the Logitech Mx Revolution mouse and K800 keyboard are connected via 1 logitech receiver.

I know that with a wireless keyboard i'm not able to enter the bios but my g110 is a wired keyboard and i can't enter bios anyway. In effect with a ps2 keyboard i can enter normally the bios but i would like to use my g110. Any suggestion?

I assume you installed the lastest Intel chipset drivers / and tried all available usb ports?

Have you also did a clear cmos, disconnect the power lead wait till the all leds / on/off light on the mb are off,
than hit the cmos switch on the motherboard, than reconnect the power lead and boot your pc.

check the bios if usb devices are enabled.
